A Story That Continues - Monte Alverna Panamá
In this Encuentro, Deaf youth, leaders came together to share their faith, strengthen their leadership, and build community. Through workshops, moments of prayer, group activities, and spaces for reflection, participants explored how to live their faith in their daily lives and within their own communities. Throughout these days, friendships, learning, and a strong sense of belonging emerged—continuing to inspire the work of DCYIA.
The Encuentro is a space where Deaf young people can grow in faith and leadership.
Here we discover that we are not alone—we are part of a community.
Every activity, every conversation, and every prayer brings us closer.
The Encuentro reminds us that everyone has a place in the Church.
What begins here continues when we return to our communities.
